Burn the Playbook: RFK Jr. and the End of Party Politics
George Washington sent the warning, and RFK Jr. is proving him right. Let's reimagine the future of leadership in politics.
Hope everyone is feeling good on this beautiful Tuesday! I’m really excited about building out this conversation, because this conversation is one that I’ve had internally for a LONG, long time. So without wasting anymore time, let’s dive in. 🫡
Here’s 1 Big Idea I’m chewing on, 2 Big Questions for you, and 3 Stories I’m reading & watching.
1 Big Idea I’m chewing on:
RFK Jr. is the new George Washington. Now, I know that sounds crazy and a bit sensational, but hear me out for a second. Imagine a political landscape where parties don’t divide us, and where leaders prioritize people over power. Sounds like a dream, right? Enter Robert F. Kennedy Jr., the only one who’s been echoing George Washington’s vision: no parties, just people. RFK Jr. dropped the Democratic label, then the Republican one, and is now just an independent—reminding us about Washington’s warning against the dangers of party loyalty. Washington, our first president, famously hated political parties, thinking they would fracture the nation. Fast-forward to 2025, and George Washington has never been more right.
But there is something to celebrate, and I think it’s that RFK Jr.’s independence is still shaking up the system in BIG ways. His Senate confirmation hearings for Health Secretary were a battleground, with his vaccine questioning past and shifting abortion stance constantly under fire. Yet, his “Make America Healthy Again” movement is stronger than ever, tapping into a thirst for leaders who put people first. This isn’t just politics, I cannot be more clear, it’s a revival of Washington’s dream, reimagined for today.
Not Left, Not Right, Just People.
RFK Jr. isn’t just rejecting the party system—he’s detonating it. Washington warned that parties would weaken the nation, and RFK Jr.’s independence is a direct challenge to that broken system. His confirmation battles highlight the stakes: Republicans back him despite his liberal roots, while Democrats cry about his vaccine questioning. This matters because it’s a test of whether we can transcend party lines. This is huge because it could redefine leadership, proving that ideas, not affiliations, can be the very thing that unites us.
MAHA Isn’t Politics—It’s the Big Shift, and RFK Jr. Is the Engine.
MAHA is a movement that goes far beyond parties, because it’s not about politics, it’s all about people. And if RFK Jr.’s confirmed, he won’t just be an engine for health policy, he’ll be an engine for change. This is Washington’s vision, reimagined for today: a leader that fights for people, not just party lines. A future where the ideas matter more than the parties they come from.
2 Questions for you:
What’s the biggest obstacle to making “people over parties” a reality? Is it the media, election laws, voter habits, or something else?
Let’s say we break free from the two party system, what are you looking for in a leader? What qualities or values would you want in a leader?
(Give me your take on these questions in the comment section! 👇🏼)
And 3 stories I’m reading & watching:
Tulsi Gabbard gets 52-46 in Senate vote to invoke cloture to activate her confirmation vote, showing the end is near for her DNI nomination.
Ban of harmful school lunch ingredients is proposed, and the MAHA movement is the reason why.
Trump signs new Executive Order to bring back plastic straws.
BONUS: Crazy, Stupid, Love was playing in the background while I wrote this newsletter. What an Incredible movie about how complicated, yet beautiful beyond belief love is. I’m reminded that beautiful things, are profoundly hard. Hard to create, hard to maintain, but so worth it.

Mr. Kennedy has been making history for 4 decades, and his passionate fight for the health of our species and our planet has reached a crescendo during this Revolution to save our Republic. His indefatigable work ethic, encyclopedic intellect, moral transparency, commitment to children's and adults' health, respect for nature, and pursuit of freedom and peace is incomparable. It is a stimulating and life-changing honor to support him. I believe that the tirades of a few Democratic Senators evidenced both concerns about their Pharma bonuses and cognitive dissonance following decades of supporting areas of allopathic medicine which have harmed children and adults. When Mr. Kennedy has promised gold-standard vaccine research with randomized double blind placebo control trials Senators ranted that "the science is settled!" They cannot even hear that, bewilderingly, there have been none of these control groups in vaccine development. Mr. Kennedy's fortitude and the force of the MAHA movement will prevail!!
I think the greatest obstacle is for people to listen to their own authentic self and look for the authentic self in other people. I am from Germany and we are just before elections- the Mainstream parties quarrel all the time, but agree on one thing: Not to work together with the „AfD“ party. However the job of an elected member of Parliament can only be to work for content that holds the greatest potential of benefit for its people. And the heart of parliamentary work should be to promote the good of all ( in Short).
