The Happiest Day of Joe Biden’s Life
It wasn’t the day he was inaugurated, or when he found out Kamala Harris lost the election. But for Joe Biden, that day might have just been today.
Absolutely no one can convince me that President Biden didn’t want Trump to win. There were so many signs, from him directly sabotaging the Harris Walz Campaign, to him cutting off her speech, and don’t forget him being absent from Harris’ election night party. For crying out loud, the man even wore a Trump 2024 hat! And it all led to this moment, the two presidents sitting side by side in the Oval Office.
The significance of this moment couldn’t be overstated—the air was charged with energy, and for the first time in a long time, Biden seemed genuinely happy. I would even go out of my way to say he looked younger, full of energy, and free from the political burdens that have taken over him for so long. Trump’s historic victory over Biden’s former running mate, Kamala Harris, has brought the cheesiest most genuine smile I’ve ever seen on President Biden’s face.
Jill Biden’s Stunning Post-Election Glow
And it wasn’t just him! Jill Biden looked truly stunning today too, almost as if she had some sort of post-election glow? Maybe she was radiating because she has finally been unburdened by what has been!
For Jill and Joe, today wasn’t just another political handshake, this was an affirmation. In their choices, in this election, and in the new President-Elect Trump. Even by looking at Jill’s outfit, I can’t help but think this wasn’t just another fashion statement—but a signal of her full support of what’s coming. Remember on Election day when she wore all red? These are the nonverbal fingerprints of approval.
Joe Biden and Trump Bringing Joy to the White House
I’ll tell you the truth, this moment could be less about Trump’s win and more about Harris’s loss. Whether he rooted for Trump or not, his happiness and attitude suggests he’s aligned with Trump and the future he sees. And for Biden, it may not be about policy, it could be about finally stepping away the toxic political scene and finally retiring.
As Biden walks alongside Trump in the halls of the White House, I imagine he felt a sense of relief. His years with Harris could have been a strange combination of both duty and division, but today, standing beside his former opponent, he seemed content and happy. And I know this might just seem like it’s my opinion, but I’m really not alone here. People across the internet are saying the same thing!
The comments underneath this post elevate this point even further: there's been a radical shift in politics over the past few days, and even President Biden can feel it. It’s almost like culture and society took a 180 turn after November 5th.
Here’s what I love, between these two men we saw: a coup, a McDonald’s shift, a threat to invoke the 25th amendment, multiple assassination attempts, a comment about republicans being garbage, and the now President-Elect riding around in a garbage truck. Politics really doesn’t get any better than this. What a beautiful day for both Biden and Trump this November 13th, 2024.
Just look at how giddy he is 😹
Yes, it really is hysterical, although not a total surprise for sure. I do side with the posit that it was more about Harris losing. Biden said many times "I am the only one who can beat Trump" (though given a fair shot, I believe Kennedy could have, and there's still some credible doubt as to whether Biden really did or not.) But all's well that ends well... we hope. As a STRONG Kennedy supporter, I would like to see that HHS appointment sooner than later. "Saving the best for last" is not a wise strategy for Trump here. Those of us who took joined hands with Kennedy taking that leap of faith are not happy with this delay.
